Part-Time Operations Clerk

About the Role

At Happy Egg, a lot has to happen behind the scenes before our eggs make it from the farm to the shelf. We’re looking for a part-time Operations Clerk who enjoys keeping things organized, accurate, and on track. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting operations, inventory tracking, traceability, and basic accounting processes while working with a team that believes work can be both meaningful and a little more Happy.

You’ll Fit Right In If

• You’re looking for part-time work in a data processing and operations support role.
• You’re detail-oriented and eager to learn, with an interest in or experience with invoice reconciliation and inventory tracking.
• You take pride in providing exceptionally accurate data in a timely manner to help keep the operations team moving.
• You enjoy solving little puzzles, catching details others might miss, and making sure the numbers don’t get scrambled.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile supplier invoices and shipments.
• Track the movement of inventory and operations performance metrics.
• Ensure smooth communication between production, storage, distribution, and accounting.
• Support traceability documentation.
• Take on additional duties and responsibilities as performance and capacity are assessed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data quality
• Comfortable sitting and working at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry and reconciliation tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with numbers, invoices, inventory records, and operational data
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow them through to resolution
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with teammates across multiple departments
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems, processes, and basic accounting concepts
• Dependable, accountable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A sharp eye for spotting when something looks a little scrambled
