Part-Time Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

About the Role

The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk is responsible for efficiently selecting, assembling, and ensuring the quality of customers' online orders. They process payments, scan and bag items, communicate substitutions, and load orders into customers' vehicles to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and load orders for pick-up.
• Communicate order updates or substitutions to customers.
• Ensure order accuracy and maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas.
• Follow safety, food handling, and company policies, including proper temperature storage.
• Operate POS systems, report discrepancies, and assist in training new team members.
• Provide excellent customer service, manage conflicts professionally, and support vulnerable customers.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Basic math skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to read shelf tags.
• Experience in shopping, warehouse, stocking, or cashier roles is preferred.
• Capability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
