Part-Time - Oncology LPN

About the role

This role involves providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager within the LPN scope of practice. The position requires local travel between sites and may involve floating between locations based on need.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with treatments
• Coordinate tests and follow-up care
• Document treatments accurately
• Educate patients and families
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and ongoing education
• Serve as a preceptor for new colleagues
• Maintain communication and documentation
• Support staff education and professional development

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Scheduling flexibility

• Excellent assessment and clinical skills
• Strong communication and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience, especially in oncology or outpatient settings
