Part-Time On-Call Staff Environmental Engineer

About the role

This position is for a PTOC Staff Environmental Engineer and is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discussions on tasks to develop Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans for fuel and other petroleum liquids storage and use
• Review draft SPCC Plans and provide comments
• Review final SPCC Plans
• Sign and apply Professional Engineer seal to final SPCC Plans
• Obtain, in a timely manner, Professional Engineer registrations in relevant states through Comity (Reciprocity) Licensure

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited academic institution (Environmental Engineering preferred)
• Must be currently registered as a Professional Engineer in at least one state
• Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen
• Must comply with company drug and alcohol policy
• Must be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the start date

Pay

Expected salary: $65/hour to $80/hour

This position is primarily remote and may be performed in various cities and states.
