Part Time Occupational Therapist

About the role

Provide personalized, one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private homes and senior living settings, using evidence-based treatments to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver therapy sessions in home and senior-living environments
• Document progress in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place
• Incorporate telehealth and virtual care for increased flexibility

Requirements

• Valid OT license
• Degree from an accredited occupational-therapy program
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Current CPR certification

Physical demands

• Lifting and repositioning patients
• Assisting with transfers
• Driving to care locations

Schedule
