Part Time Nurse (Surgical Recovery) - Night Shift

About the role

Seeking a Surgical RN to provide post-operative care for adult surgical patients on a dedicated surgical floor. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluating care effectiveness provided by team members. The nurse will coordinate care with other departments, maintain professional accountability, and uphold standards aligned with organizational values and mission.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license and ability to maintain licensure in the state
• Basic Life Support certification (or successful completion within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Providing care for patients undergoing general, bariatric, joint replacement, fracture repair, and urological procedures
• Monitoring surgery recovery and step-down surgical care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
