Nurse (Surgical Recovery) - Part Time, Night Shift

About the role

Join our team as a Surgical RN on the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, ensuring care aligns with organizational standards and values.
• Provide post-operative care to adult surgical patients on a specialized surgical floor.
• Support patients undergoing general surgery, bariatric procedures, joint replacements, fracture repairs, and urological surgeries.
• Assess patient needs, monitor recovery, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN licensure and meet state board requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or acquire within 30 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
