Part-Time Nurse Practitioner, Mount Sinai Hospital

Part-time position (60%; 22.5 hours per week) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, based at the Mount Sinai clinic located at VOCAL-NY in Brooklyn, New York (300 Douglass Street).

About the Role

The Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical care at VOCAL-NY, a community organization offering onsite and peer-based services including syringe exchange, overdose prevention, hepatitis C and HIV education, and drug treatment education for people who use drugs. Services are delivered in a low-threshold, nonjudgmental, and culturally relevant environment.

Clinical responsibilities include low-threshold onsite and telemedicine care, health promotion, and care coordination. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with general internists, addiction medicine specialists, and hepatologists at Mount Sinai Hospital who specialize in HCV and addiction treatment.
