About the Role

Provides patient care in various pediatric ambulatory practices, collaborating with clinical staff and physicians. Works as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational, orientation, and clinical problem-solving programs.
  • Act as a clinical resource, support staff, oversee assignments, and serve as a preceptor when needed.
  • Ensure quality patient care, maximize patient flow, and maintain adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff training, policy development, and clinical guideline revisions.
  • Coordinate clinical activities and support staff development.
  • Participate in educational initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Contribute to policy updates and staff orientation.
  • Attend meetings and serve as a clinical leader and resource.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with diabetes education.
  • Current Registered Nurse license and BLS CPR certification.
