About the Role
Provides patient care in various pediatric ambulatory practices, collaborating with clinical staff and physicians. Works as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational, orientation, and clinical problem-solving programs.
- Act as a clinical resource, support staff, oversee assignments, and serve as a preceptor when needed.
- Ensure quality patient care, maximize patient flow, and maintain adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff training, policy development, and clinical guideline revisions.
- Coordinate clinical activities and support staff development.
- Participate in educational initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Contribute to policy updates and staff orientation.
- Attend meetings and serve as a clinical leader and resource.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- 1-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with diabetes education.
- Current Registered Nurse license and BLS CPR certification.
