About the role
Saint Ann School is seeking a caring, dependable, and professional Part-Time School Nurse to care for the health and well-being of our students during the school day.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and first aid to students and staff.
- Assess student health concerns and determine appropriate care.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health needs.
- Maintain accurate student health and medical records.
- Administer medications and follow school health policies and procedures.
- Monitor students with ongoing health needs and emergency care plans.
- Promote a safe, healthy, and caring school environment.
- Work cooperatively with school administration, teachers, families, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- School nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work compassionately and professionally with children.
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Saint Ann School.
