About the role

Medical Laboratory Technician responsible for performing routine diagnostic tests in various laboratory departments including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, molecular, urinalysis, and serology.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and perform tests following established protocols.
• Maintain laboratory instruments through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist with special projects and support laboratory operations.
• Adhere to organizational policies and ensure quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or eligibility for certification.

Skills

• Strong understanding of lab procedures, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
• Computer proficiency, with knowledge of Epic and Media Lab preferred.

Requirements

• Professional attitude under stress and ability to work overtime if needed.
• Manual dexterity for handling laboratory instruments.
• Physical ability to lift objects and stand for extended periods.
