About the Role
A part-time night custodian position focused on maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained school facilities.
Responsibilities
- Clean interior areas such as hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose rooms
- Clean exterior perimeter, parking lot, and windows
- Empty trash and dust furniture, vents, and sills
- Sterilize restrooms and high-use areas
- Clean up bodily messes
- Assist with cafeteria cleaning and waste removal
- Support cleaning projects and aid in preventative maintenance
- Participate in training and ensure safety compliance
- Carry a radio and remain on school property during shifts, including emergencies
- Perform other delegated duties
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma with ongoing construction or facilities-related education
- At least 1 year of janitorial experience
- Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Ability to perform light physical work and travel as needed
- Must work independently and perform routine tasks efficiently
