Part Time Multi-Instrument Music Instructor

Position Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements
• Create an encouraging, fun, and focused practice atmosphere
• Assess a student’s readiness to perform at live events
• Aid at school events
• May repair equipment as needed and able

Requirements

• Demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and effective communication to students
• Show advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument(s)
• Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in rehearsals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities
• Experienced performer (either solo or group)
• Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians
• Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
• Ability to pass a background check

Details

• Compensation begins at $18/hr.
• We are looking for someone who can offer part time availability with consistency
• We are ideally looking for someone who teaches multiple instruments
• Cannot teach at another music lessons facility within 5 miles of our location
