BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Part-Time MRI Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist - Weekend Premium Pay Option (WEO) for Memorial Hospital (Belleville, IL).

Position Details

• Weekend Day Shift Hours: Saturday & Sunday (6am-6:30pm)
• Part-Time (24 hours per week) – Benefits Eligible

Compensation & Incentives

• Lucrative Pay
• Weekend Premium Pay: 50% extra on top of hourly rate for weekend hours (Combine Base Pay + Weekend premium)
• $2,500 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

Preferred Qualifications

• MRI experience
• Registered MRI tech RT(MR)(ARRT) or AMRIT
• Less than 2 years of experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
• Intravenous Therapy certification
• Experience as: Lead Tech, Charge Tech, Senior tech, Lead Radiology Technologist, Supervisor, Senior Technologist, Radiology Department Lead, Chief IR Technologist, Radiology Supervisor, Vascular Interventional Technologist, Special Procedures Technologist, neurovascular procedures
