Imaging Technologist (MRI) - Part Time - Weekends
About the role
Join the Radiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian / Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care to patients. The Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of primarily MRI services. You’ll warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. This position will primarily cover MRI at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (BMH) inpatient and outpatient services, and Center for Community Health (CCH) coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition
- Produce good quality radiographic images
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
Qualifications
Preferred Criteria
- N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification
- At least 1 year of experience
Schedule
Part-time, every Sunday 6:30am - 9:00pm.
Pay
Salary Range: $57.45 - $68.35/Hourly
