In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of primarily MRI services. You’ll warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. This position will primarily cover MRI and includes coverage at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (BMH) inpatient and outpatient services, as well as the Center for Community Health (CCH) as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition and produce good quality radiographic images
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards
  • Prepare and execute MRI services
  • Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
  • N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification

Qualifications

Preferred Criteria:

  • N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
  • ARRT Advanced Modality certification
  • At least 1 year of experience

Schedule

Part-time, every Saturday 6:30am - 9:00pm

Pay

Salary Range: $57.45 - $68.35/Hourly
