About the role
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Lift and position patients for MRI procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment and administer contrast media.
- Monitor patient conditions and ensure safety and infection control standards.
- Review patient history and demonstrate proper filming techniques.
- Maintain MRI equipment and manage schedules.
- Assist with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a CT/MRI Technologist.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Proven technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of MRI experience.
Skills
- Professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and patients.
Pay
$42.60 to $63.90 per hour.
