About the Role

Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, guide patients through procedures, and ensure safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and prepare patients, explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI scans with minimal supervision, adjusting parameters as needed.
  • Follow physician orders, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and uphold accreditation standards.
  • Assist with departmental support tasks such as updating protocols, managing supplies, and training new staff.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • ARMRIT or ARRT registration, current and in good standing, with appropriate state licensing if required.
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiography program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience performing MRI procedures independently.
  • Certification in imaging specialty.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual abilities.
