About the Role
Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, guide patients through procedures, and ensure safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Screen and prepare patients, explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately.
- Perform routine and advanced MRI scans with minimal supervision, adjusting parameters as needed.
- Follow physician orders, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and uphold accreditation standards.
- Assist with departmental support tasks such as updating protocols, managing supplies, and training new staff.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- ARMRIT or ARRT registration, current and in good standing, with appropriate state licensing if required.
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiography program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience performing MRI procedures independently.
- Certification in imaging specialty.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual abilities.
