MRI Technologist, Part Time
About the Role
As an MRI Technologist, you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care in a clinic or practice setting. You will inject patients with contrast media to enhance image clarity on MRI scanners, which use magnetic fields and contrast agents to produce diagnostic images for physicians.
Responsibilities
- Performs MRI examinations accurately and proficiently with an understanding of protocols for each exam.
- Knowledgeable in the proper use of PACS and RIS systems in accordance with set protocols and manufacturer recommendations.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of computer language and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Demonstrates an understanding of magnetic physics and practices appropriate safety procedures in the magnet area.
- Serves patients of all age groups (Infant through Older Adults).
Requirements
- Florida CRT License is required.
- ARRT certification is required.
- ARRT (MR) certification is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
- At least one year of MRI experience is preferred.
- Hospital experience is preferred.
Schedule
Part-time, weekends with variable shifts covering health plex and Rio Vista MRI.
