MRI Technologist Part Time

About the role

We are seeking an MRI Technologist Part-Time to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. This position offers a supportive environment where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.
• Assess and treat/care for patients, interpreting information to meet their needs and understand their treatment requirements.
• Teach and demonstrate advanced knowledge of MRI equipment, examinations, and MRI technology to students and staff.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-MR).
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of MRI equipment and examinations.
• Ability to interpret patient information and provide appropriate care.
• Experience in teaching MRI technology to students and staff.
