About the role
We are seeking an MRI Technologist Part-Time to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. This position offers a supportive environment where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.
- Assess and treat/care for patients, interpreting information to meet their needs and understand their treatment requirements.
- Teach and demonstrate advanced knowledge of MRI equipment, examinations, and MRI technology to students and staff.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-MR).
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Vocational School Graduate.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of MRI equipment and examinations.
- Ability to interpret patient information and provide appropriate care.
- Experience in teaching MRI technology to students and staff.
