Part Time Merchandiser - Rock Rapids, IA

Primary Responsibilities

• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing effective time management skills and organizational skills.
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and immediately following major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets which may include minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.

Qualifications

• The ability to work on your own and with a team.
• Experience Required: No Experience Necessary! We will train you!

Pay and Schedule

• The starting pay is $13.10 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (the listed rates are subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $13.80.
• After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $14.50.

Route and Schedule

• The route will service the following retail locations at: 106 N Boone St, Rock Rapids, IA, 51246; 205 S Story St; 1430 Ia 9, Larchwood, IA; 933 Westview Dr, Rock Valley, IA and 1227 Valley Dr Po Box 154, Rock Valley, IA.
• The weekly average hours are 2 hours per week. The weekly hours may increase to an average of 4 hours per week around holidays.

Physical Demands

• You will be working on the sales floor as well as the back stock room.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures of up to 40 pounds throughout the sales floor and backrooms.
• You will need to be able to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday.
• A stepstool may be used to complete some tasks.
