Part Time Merchandiser - Orlando, FL

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase and manage product inventory in various retail locations. The role involves merchandising, organizing, and displaying product within greeting card departments and other retail locations. The ideal candidate should be available during daytime hours and specifically Monday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods

Pay

The starting pay is $14.00 per hour. Increases occur after 6 months ($14.80) and 1 year ($15.50) of employment. These rates are subject to change based on work location.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 5 hours per week, with potential increases to 10 hours per week around holidays. The ideal candidate should be available during daytime hours and specifically Monday mornings.
