Part Time Merchandiser - Ellensburg, WA

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product offerings in various retail locations. The role involves merchandising and organizing product displays, maintaining inventory levels, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The starting pay is $17.50 per hour, increasing to $18.60 after 6 months and $19.50 after 1 year of employment. Pay rates may vary based on work location.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 5 hours, which may increase to 9 hours around holidays. Routes service 2 retail locations: 201 S Water St, Ellensburg, WA, 98926 and 804 West First, Cle Elum, WA.
