Part Time Member Service Representative (Teller)

About the role

Assist in the supervision of MSRs to process teller transactions and balance accounts, ensure quality service while achieving sales and quality objectives. Maintain compliance with credit union operational policies and procedures to meet the needs of the members.

Responsibilities

• Oversees MSR operations to ensure teller transactions are processed correctly and in a timely manner
• Coaches the MSR’s on AAA and ensures quality member service within the branch
• Develops methods to track and measure MSR productivity, accuracy, sales and service
• Conducts monthly and quarterly certifications
• Maintains and balances cash, Vault, ATM, various MSR logs and all branch cash operations
• Performs MSR duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Balances cash drawer daily
• Aids in the daily operations of the branch
• Represents the credit union in a professional manner
• Complies with all regulations as required by law

Requirements

• At least two years of branch or related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must meet all Branch Progression training expectations of an MSR II
• Basic computer operating skills
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) beginner to intermediate skills
• Experience with Symitar
• Type a minimum of 35 words per minute preferred
• Managerial responsibility for supervising and directing the work of others

• Effective communication skills
• Physical demands: ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, kneel and crouch occasionally, lift up to 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Pay

Starting competitive pay per hour and can increase depending on experience, plus incentives

Schedule

Part Time; Monday – Friday Hours will vary between 8:40am – 6:15pm; Saturdays 8:40am – 2:15pm *Day off during the week when a Saturday is worked* *Flexibility needed 20 – 25 hrs./week based on needs of the branch
