About the role
This position involves providing patient care and administrative support as a Medical Assistant or Associate Medical Assistant. Under the delegation of a licensed practitioner, you will perform clinical duties such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, along with administrative tasks to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering patient-centered care within established policies and regulations
- Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs, injections, and medication administration
- Support administrative functions related to patient care
- Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program, military medical training, or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of clinical and healthcare experience
- CPR/BLS certification upon hire
- Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
