About the Role
Join our caring healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, serving as the first point of contact for patient care and handling administrative duties in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Documenting patient symptoms and history in the EMR
- Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Administering injections, medications, and vaccines
- Performing diagnostic tests and collecting specimens
- Drawing blood and sterilizing equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organized exam room
- Patient-facing responsibilities, including TB screening compliance
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program, certification, or relevant experience
- At least one year of Medical Assistant experience
- Phlebotomy skills and experience administering medications/vaccines
- Current CPR certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Skills
- Active MA certification or registration
- Experience with value-based care, HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and patient experience measures
Schedule
This role requires onsite work during standard weekday hours.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $43,000 to $56,200 annually, with eligibility for bonuses.
