Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect engines, hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using testing tools and software
  • Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, brakes, and transmissions
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes and lubrication
  • Maintain maintenance records and reports
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations
  • Test equipment post-repair for proper performance

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship or on-the-job training
  • Some roles may require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
