Mechanic Part Time

About the role

This is an entry-level position for someone with good basic mechanical skills. You will learn and develop the necessary skills to perform the job effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) Inspections.
• Performs Post Trip Inspections.
• Handles general repairs such as clutch and brake adjustments, lights and electrical repairs, and tire placement with supervision.
• May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining or repairing equipment under mentorship.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair.
• Experience with equipment systems is a plus.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, strong listening ability, and the capacity to interact well with others.
• 0-3 years of diesel shop experience is acceptable.
