Part-Time Meat Market Sales Associate

About the Role

This position involves working in the meat department within a retail supermarket, focusing on customer service, product handling, and department maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and food safety regulations.
• Assist in training team members and support special projects as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas, including equipment and storage areas.
• Support proper product rotation, weighing, wrapping, and labeling of meat products.
• Receive deliveries, code, and store meat products appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive motions in a temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn technical tasks in the meat department.
• Physical ability to lift 1-40 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Team-oriented attitude and commitment to safety and sanitation standards.
