About the role

Brightmont Academy offers a unique part-time teaching opportunity focused on one-to-one instruction. Since 1999, we’ve helped students in grades 1–12 achieve their full potential through personalized learning across 26 campuses in 11 states. This role allows you to teach without the stress of lesson planning, grading, or parent conferences, enabling you to concentrate on inspiring individual students.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology, or a related subject area
• Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students’ individual learning needs
• A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with students
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA only) and pass a federal background check

Bonus Qualifications

• Teaching certification (not required)
• Advanced degree in a specific subject area
• Previous one-to-one teaching experience
