This role involves providing safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services with a focus on patient care, equipment operation, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include performing a variety of technical procedures, setting up and maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring image quality meets clinical standards. The technologist will obtain comprehensive clinical histories, verify patient identity, and respond to emergency situations, while maintaining patient privacy and comfort. They will explain procedures clearly, assist with departmental training, and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete. Maintaining equipment functionality, participating in quality control, and following regulatory standards are essential. Additional duties include transporting patients, restocking supplies, and supporting team members to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications include an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, ARRT-M and ARRT-R certifications, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiologic and mammography experience. Key skills involve excellent communication, customer service, ability to work independently and under pressure, attention to detail, and proficiency in mammography techniques.
