Part Time Maintenance Technician - Storage Property

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Tech who thrives on variety and takes pride in keeping properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. You’ll handle routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across assigned properties, ensuring everything operates efficiently. This role is approximately 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repairs to ensure properties operate safely and efficiently
• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and building-related issues
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and inspections
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and scheduled procedures
• Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts; order materials as instructed
• Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of buildings, units, and grounds
• Communicate regularly with property teams regarding maintenance needs, budgets, and completed work
• Assist with coordinating external vendors and contractors for larger repair or capital improvement projects
• Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Background screening will be conducted at time of hire
• For positions that involve driving, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
