Part-Time Maintenance Person

Responsibilities

• Performing general building repairs and routine maintenance
• Aiding with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects
• Maintaining church and school grounds, including seasonal outdoor work
• Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for parish and school events
• Identifying maintenance needs and ensuring a safe environment for parishioners, students, staff, and visitors
• Performing other maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Willingness to support the mission and values of a Catholic parish and school
