PART TIME MA/CNA (Provo/Orem/SF)

About the role
We are looking to hire a Part Time Medical Assistant to work at all three of our locations: Provo, Orem, and Spanish Fork. Part-time is defined as 0-4 shifts per week, with current needs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Shifts vary from 4-9 hours per day, depending on the provider's schedule, and start/end times change daily. You must be available to work full days, from as early as 7:30 AM to as late as 6:00 PM—we cannot accommodate individuals who can only work mornings or afternoons.
You will not be required to work weekends or major holidays.
Schedule
Below is an example schedule to illustrate varying start and end times:
- Monday - Provo with Dr. Valley: Start at 8:00 AM, last patient at 4:00 PM (likely done by 4:30 PM)
- Tuesday - Orem with Nurse Practitioner Susie Health: Start at 10:00 AM, last patient at 4:45 PM
- Wednesday - OFF
- Thursday - OFF
- Friday - Spanish Fork with Dr. Coffee: Start at 9:00 AM, last patient at 1:30 PM
Requirements
- Must already have CNA or CMA certification
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a current CNA or MA license
- Must be willing to travel to all three locations: Provo, Orem, and Spanish Fork
Responsibilities
- Assist Doctor/NP/CNMs in clinic by obtaining patient weight, blood pressure, and medical history
- Assist with in-office procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, Nexplanon insertions, and pap smears
- Perform phlebotomy and lab responsibilities
- Demonstrate good communication skills, organization, and patient care
- Multitask and thrive in a busy clinic environment
Pay
Hourly wage averages $16/hr, dependent on clinical experience.
