Cub Rochester East Liquor is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time liquor clerk position. This role involves providing courteous customer service, adhering to state and local liquor sale regulations, and maintaining store standards.
Responsibilities
- Stock liquor supplies
- Provide courteous customer service
- Perform general cleaning of shelves and other store areas
- Know and observe all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales
- Handle special orders, such as kegs, and prepare appropriate equipment for pickup
- Close and secure gates at the end of the day
- Work independently
Requirements
- Operate equipment including scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, calculators, etc.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
- Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Good judgment, especially when direct supervision may not be immediately available
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions

Pay
UNFI anticipates paying a competitive rate for this position, with actual pay dependent on factors such as education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
