Part Time - Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises nursing assistants to ensure quality care aligns with regulations and standards. Acts as a resident advocate, supports medical staff, and collaborates across departments to plan services, programs, and activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing activities, ensures documentation accuracy, and manages medication administration.
• Maintains effective communication with residents, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participates in staff development, audits, and promotes a positive work environment.
• Ensures equipment, supplies, safety, and infection control standards are maintained.
• Assists with staffing coverage and promotes continuous improvement in resident and staff experiences.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with NYS license and BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience.
• Must demonstrate patience, tact, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
