About the role

Inner Circle Mental Health is hiring a part-time licensed mental health professional to provide afternoon and evening therapy services at our Norman, Oklahoma location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient mental health therapy to assigned clients.
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain a consistent caseload within assigned afternoon and evening availability.
  • Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
  • Complete progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and other clinical documentation within required timelines.
  • Evaluate client safety and respond appropriately to clinical risk.
  • Carefully coordinate care with other professionals when clinically appropriate and properly authorized.
  • Maintain compliance with Oklahoma licensing requirements.
  • Follow applicable ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional scope-of-practice limitations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices related to trauma, stress injury, anxiety, depression, moral injury, grief, occupational stress, and related behavioral health needs.
  • Use Inner Circle’s EHR for scheduling, documentation, treatment planning, and client communication.
  • Complete documentation and administrative responsibilities during approved working hours.
  • Communicate promptly regarding client concerns, scheduling problems, absences, and clinical risks.
  • Participate in required meetings, training, supervision, and consultation.
  • Aid with intake calls, client follow-up, care coordination, resource development, or other appropriate duties during open appointment time.
  • Maintain professionalism with clients, team members, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Follow Inner Circle policies and procedures.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive client information.
  • Maintain professional liability insurance as required by Inner Circle policy.

Requirements

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, addiction counseling, or another qualifying behavioral health field.
  • Active Oklahoma clinical license in good standing, including one of the following: LPCLCSWLMFTLADCPsyD, Licensed Psychologist.
  • Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide independent clinical services within the scope of the clinician’s Oklahoma license.
  • Ability to maintain consistent afternoon and evening availability.
  • Ability to work primarily in person at the Norman office.
  • Ability to complete employment, credentialing, background-screening, and onboarding requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Experience working with first responders, veterans, law enforcement, fire and EMS professionals, dispatchers, healthcare workers, or other high-trauma occupational populations.
  • Experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, moral injury, occupational stress, relationship concerns, or related conditions.
  • Training in EMDR, CPT, TF-CBT, or another evidence-based trauma treatment model.
  • Some Friday evening or Saturday availability.
  • Strong understanding of wellness, recovery, resiliency, and occupational stress.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a collaborative clinical team.
  • Willingness to complete ResponderReady Clinician Certification.

Benefits

This is an hourly W-2 employee position. The anticipated compensation range is $38–$40 per hour. The specific rate will be based on professional license, years of post-licensure experience, relevant trauma-treatment experience, specialized clinical certifications, and ability to maintain consistent high-demand appointment times.

Pay

The top rate of $40 per hour is reserved for candidates who combine strong clinical experience with consistent availability during hard-to-fill hours, including late afternoons, evenings, Fridays, or weekends.

Schedule

The Part-Time Afternoon and Evening Therapist works Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m., approximately 20 hours per week. Alternative schedules may be considered for an exceptional candidate who can provide consistent in-person appointments during after-school and after-work hours.
