Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Part-time)

About the role

The Licensed Mental Health Therapists at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital assist in conducting programs to provide treatment for conditions and problems relating to drug and alcohol abuse and/or dual diagnosis treatment. They conduct or assist in conducting individual and group counseling sessions and instructional programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting programs to provide treatment for conditions and problems relating to drug and alcohol abuse and/or dual diagnosis treatment.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions and instructional programs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Masters Degree in related field.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Minimum Work Experience: 2 years in Behavioral Health setting preferred, with an internship considered.
• Licenses: Must hold a current license in the state of Texas: LMSW, LCSW, LPC Associate, LPC LMSW.
