Evening Part Time Licensed Therapist

About the role

The Part-Time Primary Therapist will be responsible for running the clinical core of the night program, including individual sessions, group facilitation, and treatment planning for adults working toward recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Treatment planning for clients
• Work within the evening IOP schedule (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, 3 nights per week)
• Handle crisis assessments and de-escalation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field
• Active New Jersey clinical license (LCSW, LPC, or LAC)
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to adults with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders
• Working knowledge of IOP/outpatient levels of care and ASAM criteria
• Proficiency with treatment planning, clinical documentation, and electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to work the evening IOP schedule on-site in Marlton, NJ
• Strong crisis-assessment, de-escalation, and clinical-judgment skills
• Understanding of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• LCSW or LPC (independent clinical license)
• Prior experience as a primary therapist in an IOP, PHP, or residential SUD setting
• Experience facilitating evening or evening-weekend group programming
• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities: CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention
• LCADC or CADC in addition to the clinical license
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
