Part Time Library Paraprofessionals - East Elementary

East Elementary in Cedar City, UT is seeking a Part-Time Library Paraprofessional to work 15 hours per week. This position will remain open until filled.

About the role

The Library Paraprofessional, under the direction of the school principal, assists classroom teachers in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and environment to help students learn effectively. This role provides instructional support to students and student groups, performs various instructional and classroom management tasks, and handles related data and clerical duties to support teachers and professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support assistance to students and student groups.
• Participates in the development, maintenance, and execution of classroom management systems.
• Guides students in working and interacting harmoniously with others.
• Operates office equipment such as computers, copy machines, and related technology.
• Complies with established district policies and procedures.
• Performs data and clerical tasks to support teachers and professional staff.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with Google Docs.
• Must check email frequently.
• Willingness to learn and use all required computer systems and software.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and job performance.
