About the role

The Makerspace lab at Penn State Behrend is seeking a Sunday-Thursday evening/weekend, part-time library assistant.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and staffing of the Makerspace lab and desk
• Answering informational and directional questions
• Providing IT support for the library and the library’s Studio One equipment
• Circulating the library’s equipment collection
• Training & overseeing the work performance of evening/weekend Makerspace student staff
• Providing backup support to the library’s circulation desk staff
• Aiding with library closing procedures
• Completing special projects as assigned

Benefits

Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.

This is a 20-24-hour per week position.
