Part-Time Lecturer Studio Art and Art History (Hite Institute of Art + Design)
About the role
The Department of Art + Design invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses for the Fall and Spring semesters. These positions are for in-person instruction only at this time.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Art History or Studio Art/Design.
- Hold an MFA or equivalent teaching experience in the assigned courses.
Requirements
- Art History: A Ph.D. in Art History is preferred. An M.A. in Art History will also be considered.
- Studio Art or Design: An MFA in Studio Art or BSGD in Design is preferred. A BFA with substantial teaching and/or professional experience relevant to the assigned courses may also be considered.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Art History.
- M.A. in Art History.
- MFA in Studio Art or BSGD in Design.
- BFA with teaching experience and/or relevant professional experience.
Skills
- Strong foundation in the discipline of Art History.
- Effective teaching skills in Studio Art or Design.
