Part-Time Lecturer(s) Pool in Economics
About the role
The Department of Economics invites applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments to teach Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, or other economics courses as needed. Position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.
Responsibilities
- Teach Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, or other economics courses as needed.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Economics or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Experience teaching Principles of Microeconomics and/or Principles of Macroeconomics.
Skills
Desired skills include:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules are prorated based on the number of units assigned and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
