The College is seeking part-time lecturers who are passionate about inspiring and teaching the next generation of Nursing, Allied Health, & Human Services Students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching Courses: Teach courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards
• Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes
• Student Support: Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising
• Curriculum Development: Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or higher in the subject matter or closely related field
• Licenses and Certifications: Current License and Certification in field/discipline
• Experience: Two (2) or more years of Clinical experience if applicable
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Technology Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching Experience: One (1) or more years’ teaching-related college-level courses (24+ credits)
• Technology Experience: Experience using technology to enhance the learning environment, e.g., Blackboard, online instruction or other modalities/software

Salary

$2,352 per contact/credit hour ($7,056 for a 3-credit course).
