About the Role
The Department of Francophone, Italian, and Germanic Studies (FIGS) at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for part-time Lecturers to teach Elementary and Intermediate French courses in an undergraduate program committed to dynamic language instruction for Fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach Elementary and Intermediate French courses using up-to-date classroom technologies.
- Attend a week-long orientation starting on August 17.
Requirements
- Native or near-native linguistic ability in both French and English.
- Master’s degree required; PhD preferred in a relevant field.
- At least two years’ experience teaching language courses at the university level.
- Current and valid authorization to work in the United States.
- Willingness to teach in the afternoon and evening is desirable.
