Part-Time Lead Line Cook - $25-$27 - Plus Tips
Located near Seattle, WA, the Bill Wright Golf Complex at Jefferson Park is seeking a motivated part-time Lead Line Cook to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. About the role
Line, Prep, and Pantry cooks are responsible for the highest-quality finished product—from prep and line production to final plating. You’ll work closely with the kitchen manager and team to present exceptional dishes. This position requires strong technical skills and hands-on effort. We hire at various levels, provide training, and promote from within to foster a strong learning environment.
The Lead Line Cook serves as the backup safety officer and designated person in charge for food and beverage safety.
Responsibilities
- Understand timing standards for all food items and demonstrate recipe knowledge.
- Follow plating and garnish guidelines, SERV Safe guidelines, and safe food handling/storage practices.
- Use proper measuring/portion devices, food rotation methods (FIFO), and change inserts at closing/shift change.
- Adhere to line production keys and demonstrate proper knife handling/cutting techniques.
- Use thermometers correctly and understand F.A.T.T. (Fracture Appearance Transition Temperature) criteria.
- Respond to the call system on the line and use prep/par lists to maintain freshness and proper quantities.
- Call for F.A.S.T. (First Available Server Team) when possible.
- Act as the backup safety officer and designated person in charge for food/beverage safety.

Pay
$25.00 – $27.00 hourly plus tips.
Schedule
Part-time, varied hours averaging 35 hours per week. Must be available for shifts based on business needs and seasonality (primarily days and swing shifts).
