PART TIME LAUNDRY WORKER
What You Will Do/Day In The Life
- Sort, wash, dry and fold student clothing and linens
- Assure clothing inventory is adequate for current students
- Maintain adequate cleaning supplies in designated areas and in compliance with MSD binder and OSHA regulations
Requirements
- Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a desire to work with troubled teens
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
Pay
$17/hr
Schedule
Saturdays and Sundays 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
About the role
The Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center is located in Downtown Nashville, right next to the Tennessee Titans stadium. We are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for at-risk youth. As part of our team, you’ll help provide care and supervision for young individuals awaiting trial, offering a mix of education, counseling, medical and recreation services. You’ll monitor activities, document behavior, and assist in various programs to support the growth and development of youth aged 12-18.
