Part-Time Laundry Associate | Courtyard, Denver Park Meadows

Responsibilities

• Cleans all equipment, carts, tables, and floors
• Inspects linens for wear or stains during folding
• Separates soiled linen away from clean linen
• Uses proper wash procedures according to the type of linen
• Conducts monthly linen inventory
• Cleans lint traps and sweeps laundry rooms
• Assists and responds to guest and coworker requests in a positive and timely manner
• Ensures guest satisfaction as it pertains to laundry service at the property
• Works as a team player and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments
• Reports all maintenance needs and service issues
• Ensures a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state and federal regulations
• Follows the company guest service recovery program
• Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties
• Adheres to the company attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures
• Attends all required department and hotel meetings
• Responsible for proper use of all equipment and supplies

Qualifications

• Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
• Attention to detail, customer focused, and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment
• Maintains predictable and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
• Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods
