About the role
Lyngblomsten has a new opening for a part-time hybrid Laundry Aide/Housekeeping position at our Assisted Living, The Heritage.
Schedule
- Monday and Thursday, 8:00am-1:00pm
Pay
- $16 to $18 per hour
Responsibilities
- Care for and deliver resident clothing in a professional manner
- Sort clothing, iron, steam, fold
- Clean linen and clothing
- Fold linen
- Deliver clean linen to appropriate areas
- Operate laundry machinery
- Wide range general cleaning of common areas
- Resident room cleaning
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Requires bending, standing, stooping, pushing, pulling and reaching above shoulder level
Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- No prior experience necessary—training will be provided
- Must be able to read and understand English
