Laundry/Housekeeping Aide (part-time/full-time)

About the role

The primary purpose of the Environmental Services Department is to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. The Laundry Aide manages both facility-owned linens (bedding, towels, tablecloths) and the personal clothing of residents. This role ensures all items are thoroughly laundered, sanitized, and returned to the correct resident rooms promptly.

Responsibilities

• Launder and sanitize facility-owned linens including bedding, towels, and tablecloths
• Process residents' personal clothing with care and return items to correct rooms promptly
• Operate commercial and residential-grade washers and dryers safely
• Follow healthcare hygiene regulations strictly
• Demonstrate respect for residents' personal property and privacy

Schedule

Weekend coverage required.
